Daniel G. Failla, AIA

Dan has over 35 years of experience in the architectural industry.  After serving an apprenticeship as Senior Associate in a prominent NYC Architectural Firm, Dan established Daniel G. Failla Architects (DGFA) in 1983 as a full service architecture firm.

As president of DGFA Dan has remained directly responsible in overseeing all phases of architectural projects and for staff administration.  Project types include Corporate Office Planning, Showrooms, Private Residential, Building Restoration, Medical Facilities and ADA & Code Compliance Projects.

As an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Dan has participated in many programs and seminars concerning Building Codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is well versed in compliance issues and how they relate to various occupancies and building types.  Although most of DGFA projects are within the NYC area, approval for membership in the NCARB has entitled the firm to reciprocal licensing in other states and jurisdictions.
